Christina M. Abt is a Western New York newspaper columnist, magazine contributor and creator of a radio talk show and Internet videos under the Buffalostyle banner (www.buffalostyle.wnymedia.net)

Christina's op-ed column, Heart and Soul, has been a staple of the WNY community world for 11 years, running currently in The Sun Newspapers and on special reprint permission in WNY Women Magazine and wnywomen.com. Her written work has also been featured in national publications such as Chicken Soup for the Soul of America, Chicken Soup for the Romantic Soul and Chicken Soup to Inspire a Woman's Soul, as well as on the Heartwarmers.com website. After being chosen as a Heartwarmer's Gem, Christina's work was included in the Heartwarmer's series of books and the Petwarmer's CD. Locally, Christina's interview work has appeared in the Buffalo News, Artvoice, Buffalo Spree, Traffic East, EVE and Living Prime Time.

Christina's first book, Chicken Wing Wisdom: Western New York Stories of Family, Life and Food Shared Around the Table, has become a WNY best seller. Christina is well known in WNY as a former radio commentator on WBFO (88.7 FM). She further expanded her broadcast work with the launch of Buffalostyle Talk Radio on WECK (1230AM) (buffalostylewny.com) and as WECK's morning drive co-host working alongside WNY broadcast icon Tom Donahue. Christina took her radio show into the world of virtual video with the creation of Buffalostyle TV segments seen around the world on Youtube.

Christina is most honored to be part of a group that created the song, Love Knows No Boundaries. The song is a tribute to all impacted by Flight 3407 and is being sold to raise funds for the creation of a memorial site in the Town of Clarence. (loveknowsnoboundaries.org)

Christina is an often- invited guest speaker for WNY groups of all ages and interests. She also proudly acknowledges that she is the mother of two terrific kids, mother-in-law to one great son-in-law, the Nana of two amazingly perfect grandchildren…and will always be her mother's daughter.
