The A to Z Bus Tour of Buffalo (and Beyond)

A Fun Way to Learn about Western New York!

Getzville resident Christin Ratzel was only seven years old when she co-authored this first-of-its-kind coloring book which showcases the Niagara Frontier. Young readers pack their crayons and embark on an armchair tour of more than 25 sites in and around Buffalo, New York.

Each area attraction is presented in an alphabetical format to help youngsters with their ABC's. Using their crayons and their fertile imaginations, kids will visit places like Delaware Park, Old Fort Niagara, the Art Gallery, the University of Buffalo and more than 20 other spots.

Christin and co-author Brian Meyer worked with Grand Island artist Anna Finkel to fashion a 36-page book which includes activity pages and a regional highlight map.

When the Buffalo News wrote about the unique project, reporter Jay Rey observed: "Who would know more about a children's book than a child." And Christin notes that the A to Z Bus Tour book can be enjoyed by readers of all ages: "There is something for everyone to learn, not just kids but grown-ups, too," proclaims the region's youngest published author.
