When Church Tales was published, Melissa McIntyre was busy balancing home and career. Married and bringing up two small children, she was also a Graphic Artist for the Erie County DISS Graphics Department.

Melissa is a graduate of Nardin Academy, and of Buffalo State College, with a B.S. in Design.
